Our pets give us so much. It’s only human that we want to give the love back.
At Bayer, our mission of Science For a Better Life is more than a tagline — it’s a commitment to improving lives, both yours and your pet’s. And it fuels our passion to advocate for pet adoption — because we believe every pet deserves a healthy, comfortable and happy life. We recognize that pets enhance our lives in so many ways, and we make it a priority to return that favor through the programs and causes we actively support. We’re proud of our long-standing partnerships with a variety of non-profits and organizations that stand with our belief that our lives are better when shared with a pet.
Below are a few of the organizations that we support.

Paws Place Pet Shelter at the Rose Brooks Center
Bayer is a proud partner supporting the pet shelter at Rose Brooks Center, the first domestic violence shelter in its region to welcome the pets of women and children seeking a safe haven from abuse. The idea for Paws Place Shelter at the Rose Brooks Center was born when a woman arrived at the shelter after being beaten nearly to death by her boyfriend. Her 110-pound Great Dane had protected her by lying on top of her during the attack, taking a majority of the blows and suffering many broken bones. The woman refused to abandon her dog and, knowing her life was in danger, the center agreed to take in its first family pet.Rose Brooks Center is about saving lives, and Bayer is honored to support Paws Place Shelter to help ensure that families and their pets can heal together.
Healthy beginnings start with healthy pets. Our Shelter Blueprint program provides affordable Bayer flea, tick and heartworm disease prevention products to animal shelters and welfare organizations. That means families adopting a cat or dog can focus on the fun of bringing a new pet home.
